Spotting at DFW - November 20, 2012
Every year I visit my family in Texas for the holidays, but this year is my first time trying out spotting at DFW airport. The airport is excellent for spotting because they have an entire area devoted to watching planes. Called Founder's Plaza, it features a small park with benches, picnic tables, and even a speaker the plays ATC from Dallas tower. Although most of the planes I saw were American Airlines MD80s and 737s, there were also 3 747s, and some other heavies.
